SPIRITWIND CHILDREN

Children are probably the most fun to work with, they surprise you every time with what they say or do, but are also the most challenging. Some are just big hams in front of the camera and then there are the ones where you just have to wait for the right moment.

Props and Location play a big role in this type of photography. Having the kids in a comfortable environment help capture their personalities.

When I photograph children, I expect the unexpected from toddlers up to high school kids. I try to stay a step ahead of them every minute, thinking of what their next move could be so that I will be ready for that perfect photo.
